NEW VERSION 2!!!
After some fan feedback we have improved some things.
Of note we have REMOVED the “quick release” function so the Slugfire stays firmly in place while loading.
To remove the slugfire, breech the blaster to release the security catch, insert a finger and pull the Slugfire out using pressure inside the barrel with your finger.
Do NOT pry by the edge as this may damage your Slugfire!
SlugFire is a simple and quick mod for the Nerf SledgeFire from the Zombie Strike line. Normally the SledgeFire shoots three darts at once from a small pod. This “PodMod” takes the power of those three barrels and converges them into a single, rear loading capable, pod we call the SlugFire. YouTube video of operation -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLd8MnvpAjk
Range studies have been conducted and ranges are over 75′
This mod will allow you to…
– Dramatically increase the ranges of the SledgeFire
– Allow for the choice of Sniper/Shotgun play style
– Allow the use of old or elite streamline darts or even Stefan slugs
– Allow the rear or breech loading of darts for easy operation
– Be a complete BADA$$ when it comes to Zombie Slaying
***** Sanding the bottom may be required to fit your specific blasters tolerances *****
*Final product may not look like the one pictured as we go through rapid iterations during ongoing design phases while we search for best performance

This pod mod is amazing. It turned a cool looking, but poor performing blaster into a beast. Keep up the awesome work LG.

Drop it in in place of the stock shell for that sniper shot, or use it to quickly breach load and fire while reloading the stock shells. All around awesome product. Thanks!

I absolutely adore the Slugfire. It’s one of the simplest performance-enhancing products out there and worked right out of the box.
The peg on the lowest air restrictor fits kind of oddly, and made it slightly harder to close than stock shells, but after removing the restrictor it was smooth sailing.

From my own experience I can say this is more then worth the asking price. A great increase in power and accuracy out of a simple slap in slap out modification. I will say that after experimenting around with the slug it is worth adding a cutout of foam around the rubber bit that creates the seal with the shell, as I’ve noticed more consistent ranges after adding it.
Thanks for your review! Please show us your adaptation… that sounds great. We have the ability to custom cut foam as well so this could be an easy add for us!
